Gonzalez & Hawkins, LLC is a small minority-owned professional services firm based in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The firm is currently owned and managed by two professionals with over 25 years of combined experience in accounting, tax, and other related accounting services. The firm was founded on January 25, 2008 by Alejandro Gonzalez, Samantha Hawkins, and Charlie Johnson and was named Gonzalez, Hawkins & Johnson, LLC. The three original members met while working for one of the largest minority-owned CPA firms in the country.
In June of 2012, the name of the firm was changed to Gonzalez & Hawkins, LLC. The firm continues to operate today and offers such services as financial, consulting, management consulting, bookkeeping, tax accounting/preparation, and financial training to other individuals and small business owners.
